The perfect ginger cake recipe

Everyone like ginger cake with a small cup of tea. Ingredients:

Raising flour- 225g

Bicarbonate of soda- 1 tsp

Ground ginger- 1 tablespoon

Ground cinnamon- 1 tsp

Mixed spice- 1 tsp

Butter- 125g

Dark muscovado sugar- 125g

Black treacle- 125g

Golden syrup- 125g

Milk- 250ml

Egg-1

Procedure:

Take the bowl and sift the flour, all the dry spices, and bicarbonate of soda. Bicarbonate of soda will help to stay in clumps and not disperse through the cake. Add the butter and wipe it into the flour mixture with your hands until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add the sugar, milk, syrup, and treacle and put it on a low heat. Keep stirring until the sugar has dissolved, then turn up the heat and bring the mixture to just below boiling point so it does not burn the sugars or it will be bitter, take off the heat. Carefully pour in the treacle mix into the flour mixture with the wooden spoon. Break the egg and beat the mixture well. Pour the ginger cake mixture into the prepared tins.
